What exactly can be printed on a T-shirt?
Well, pretty much any image. It could be a child's cherished artwork, an old photograph or digital photo, text or logos, one of our catalogue designs or a digitally created image – you name it. As long as it can be digitised via a scanner or digital camera, we can probably print it!
How large does the digital image have to be to be able to print?
The higher the resolution of the image, the better the print result. As a rough guide, a minimum of 1000 pixels high or wide is recommended. Thumbnail images off the internet may look fine and crisp on your phone, but when stretched to fit the print template, they'll end up looking pixelated or blury.
A good indication is to view your image on a standard sized desktop monitor. Zooming the image to full screen will give you a fairly close approximation of how it will look printed on the T-shirt.
If you have any queries upload your image and we'll let you know if it's possible to print!
I want writing on my image but I have no graphic design skills. Do I have to provide the text as well?
No. Our Perth based in-house design service can add text in your desired font (choose from our list of available styles) for no extra charge. If you want something a little fancier, we provide a more extensive design service for a reasonable extra fee. Just tell us what you want to say and we'll add it to your image!
How many shirts do I have to have printed to make it economical?
Starting price for just one T-shirt printed is $37.50 (extra for postage and handling).
For bulk orders of shirts with the same design, contact us about our corporate rates. If you want really large quantities it becomes more economical to revert to conventional screen printing methods.
How quickly can my order be processed?
If you're in Perth, you're in luck! Get your finished design down to us at Shop 15 Midland Village, 27 Old Great Northern Highway Monday to Saturday and we can usually get it printed for you on the same day.
I want an image on my hoodie or my tank top. Do you print on people's own shirts?
No. Around 70% of the garments that have been provided to us to print on in the past have been of inferior quality or are unsuitable due to the makeup of the fabric which contains polyester, spandex and other unnatural fibres. We have had shirts returned because the print has washed off of these garments. We guarantee our work and due to the inferior nature of these garments and unpredictable print results we no longer print on supplied garments.
What colours and sizes do your T-shirts come in?
We carry a range of shirts for men, women and children in various colours, sizes and styles. For more details, please click on our store link at the top of the page. We're always adding to our range, so check Artwear Direct's website regularly for updates! We can also obtain garments to specific requirements generally within a week, so if you can't see exactly what you are after then send us a message and we will see what we can do.
What if I'm not happy with my shirt?
We'll do our very best to make sure our customers are happy, however, if you're not satisfied with our product, you can return it and we'll refund you your money (see terms and conditions).
Our customers are the heart of our business, so it makes sense to keep them happy!
